So, I am a terrible updater.  Please forgive me for the spam.  Today I took 6 months of pictures off my camera.  Sad state of affairs, that.  So here's an update. Oh, and someone requested a plague doctor mask tutorial, so keep an eye out.  I've selected the pictures and just need to figure out how to put them together in a reasonable format.  Never made a tutorial before, so this should be interesting!

This is why I don't keep a regular blog.  Once a year is not regular enough to keep anyone's interests.  I keep trying to convince my boss at my brand new job that a blog is a bad idea for  the Outreach Coordinator (me) to keep for a Public Archaeology Network to keep. Maybe I can get one of the interns to do it... Hmmm. Anyways, enjoy a veritable cornucopia of photos from my ramblings this summer and fall! Five moves later, I'm back in Florida (although it's a new part thereof) with a nice new full-time job, so I suppose photos will now be more.... swampy.

I suppose I should really get that seriously depressing post off my front page. This fall has been crazy busy.  I'm a graduate student now in full thesis swing.  Not cool at all.  I barely have time to research, let alone have fun.  Booo... :sniff: I did get a chance to be crafty for Halloween, though.  I was a modified version of a plague doctor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plague_doctor .  It was too much fun, and I spent too much time on it and the wreath, but what can you do?  It was definitely an epic, epic costume.
